How do I work in O&G in Australia and New Zealand?

The international medical graduate specialist (IMGS) assessment process is conducted by the RANZCOG and AMC. Specialists are assessed as being substantially, partially or non comparable and may be required to complete a period of work based assessment for 12-24 months and exams if they are deemed to be partially comparable. Applicants who are considered partially or substantially comparable may apply for provisional registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Doctors who have not completed specialist training can still be assessed by the college and may be offered advanced standing towards completion of the college training program.
